I hit the wall with my head and shoulder and now my whole left side hurts.

Every year I've coached, we've always had that No. 1 guy who was clearly above everyone else and the rest of the kids just fell in place behind him. This year, they're all so close in playing level. It's been great because they're challenging each other to take it to the next level. We don't have that one overpowering player, but we've got seven kids who can win on all five courts, and they're all getting better.

Dowling will get better. I know their coaching staff. They know how to win and how to prepare their kids.
